Josie Dawe earned both her Bachelor and Master Degrees in Nursing from Rush University.
As a registered nurse Josie worked at Rush in the NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) caring for very fragile babies born prematurely or with complex medical conditions. Working closely with nervous and concerned parents, Josie provided the care and compassion families needed during this critical time in their lives.
Once Josie became accredited as a pediatric nurse practitioner she honed her skills at area school districts to gain experience working with children of all ages and backgrounds. She again managed children with acute or chronic health conditions giving their parents peace of mind.
She has a special interest in food allergy management, concussion education and newborn care.
In her free time Josie loves spending time with her family and friends.
