Nancy Thomas, M.D. grew up in Houston, Texas. She graduated with a Bachelor's of Science degree with Honors in Microbiology from the University of Texas in Austin in 1999. She then earned her medical degree from the Baylor College of Medicine in 2003. Dr. Thomas was
accepted at the Baylor College of Medicine pediatric residency program and completed her residency at Texas Children’s Hospital and Ben Taub Hospital in 2006. She joined Pediatric Health Associates in the Summer of 2006.
Dr. Thomas is a board certified pediatrician and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Her clinical interests include asthma education, breastfeeding, nutrition and preventative care from birth through adolescence.
Dr. Thomas values partnering with her patients and families to stay actively involved in and always informed about their care. She is bilingual in Spanish and conversational in Malayalam.
Dr. Thomas prioritizes time with family and loves being a mom. She enjoys the nonstop action of raising three young children with her husband in the western suburbs.
